The Barbados Drug Service Pharmacy Service

 The BDS Pharmacy Service is located within the nine (9) polyclinics, three (3) out-patient clinics and two (2) of the district hospitals situated throughout Barbados as follows: -

·         St. Andrew – St. Andrew Outpatient Clinic, Belleplaine, St. Andrew

·         St. George – Glebe Polyclinic, Glebe, St. George

·         St. John – David Thompson Health & Social Services Complex, Glebe, St. John

·         St. Joseph – St. Joseph Outpatient Clinic, Horse Hill, St. Joseph

·         St. Michael

o   Branford Taitt Polyclinic, Black Rock, St. Michael

o   Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic, Wildey, St. Michael

o   Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael

o   Geriatric Hospital, Beckles Road, St. Michael *

o   Winston Scott Polyclinic, Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael

·         St. Peter – Maurice Byer Polyclinic, Station Hill, St. Peter

·         St. Philip

*  Service at the district hospitals is limited to in-patients and staff.

The pharmacy service provides Category A pharmaceuticals listed on the BNDF to citizens and permanent residents of Barbados on provision of a valid prescription or refill and a National Registration card (ID card) or Barbados passport.
